Illustrative scenario
Dry van · Receiving location
The showroom address almost became the delivery address
By AMLINEX · Published
A fictional educational example, not a completed AMLINEX shipment or customer testimonial.
A furniture supplier prepares boxed fixtures for a customer. The purchase order lists the customer’s showroom address, and that address is copied into the transportation request.
While checking the delivery details, the buyer realizes the freight belongs at a separate warehouse. The two locations have different receiving arrangements, and the order paperwork does not explain the distinction.
The buyer corrects the destination, supplies the warehouse contact, and confirms the appointment and handling information before the shipment is finalized.
The revised paperwork gives the supplier, transportation provider and receiving team the same physical destination and instructions. The business address stays on the customer record without being mistaken for the delivery location.
